‘RHOBH’ Star Lisa Vanderpump: I’m Not Afraid of Kim Richards
Lisa Vanderpump, Beverly Hills, California on March 16, 2014

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (RHOBH) star Lisa Vanderpump explained why she does not want to talk to Kim Richards. No, it is not because of fear. Read on to find out why.

On Vanderpump’s Bravo blog, she shared first that she just left a Mardi Gras in New Orleans. She said she was the parade’s monarch. She described it as “the experience of a lifetime,” so she did her best to recall the 14th episode “Surprise!”

Vanderpump said that she understood Kyle Richards’ difficult time in reconciling with Brandi Glanville. She thinks that Glanville’s closeness to Kim Richards made it worse. She said she tried convincing Kyle to settle her differences with Glanville because Kim should be the focus. She remembered Kim admitting that it has been stressful and lonely with her ex-husband Monty fighting cancer.

The reality star was aware that Kim has a lot of supporters from family and friends. However, she believed that one conflict with a family member could multiply negative feelings. She knew Kyle has always been protective of Kim. That is why she was so upset with the conflict between the sisters.

As expected, Vanderpump lashed out at Glanville. She believed Glanville was more focused on destroying the sisters’ relationship.

About her reluctance in intervening with Kim, Vanderpump made it clear that she is not afraid of her. She emphasized that she only felt wrong with the idea of intervention when she never witnessed Kim’s “breach of sobriety.”

Finally, with the good stuff, Vanderpump talked about her epic birthday surprise party. She explained that she was already contented about spending the night with her husband, Ken, Mohamed and Shiva and seeing her children for the day. She did not see the surprise coming because it was prepared in her own restaurant.

Vanderpump understood why Glanville was there. She knew Ken still cared for Glanville. However, she was certain that Ken reminded Glanville of the dos and don’ts.

The “Vanderpump Rules” boss described the evening as “strategic,” “seating” and “relaxed.” She admitted sitting next to Glanville for a while and felt some regret from her. That is why she made her sing her apologies. Glanville sang “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word.” Vanderpump found it hilarious.

However, Vanderpump noticed a hint of Glanville’s aggressiveness when she constantly bantered about age jokes on Kyle. She could not understand it because Kyle is only two years older than Glanville.

To end her blog, Vanderpump defended her friend Mohamed. She emphasized that she would always defend him. She believed that it is not a weird relationship, as Glanville criticized. She thinks it is only a kind of “deep friendship” that is “supportive” and “secure.”
