“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Tamra Judge revealed that she almost killed herself during her highly publicized custody battle with estranged husband Simon Barney. After several months, the Bravo reality star decided to relinquished custody of her 16-year-old daughter Sidney.

Speaking to Radar Online, Judge shared that she almost lost all her will to leave when she found out about the court’s decision. After allegedly abusing and neglecting her daughter, the judge ordered that Barney get full custody of their daughter. The reality star was also ordered to continue attending therapy session with her daughter in order to deal with their issues.

Judge called the ordeal one of the lowest points in her life.

“I got very depressed. There were times where I didn’t want to wake up and live,” she told the publication.

When asked how she was able to get back on her feet, Judge revealed that she, together with her family, started attending church. Last May, the Bravo reality star even got baptized, a ceremony which she intended to show on TV.

She revealed that she had second thoughts of showing the intimate ritual on TV but her pastor convinced her otherwise. The reality star hoped that “The Real Housewives of Orange County” fans will get to learn from her experience and what she went through.

“My original plan was not to do it on camera. But after talking to my pastor, he told me that it could be very helpful for other people,” she shared.
