“The Martian” was seen at the Toronto International Film Festival for the first time. Ridley Scott who was present at the event for the screening of the movie speaks about the making of the movie “Prometheus 2,” which is now supposed to shift for one month more than previously scheduled. It is not yet clear whether the movie will be screened in Toronto or Australia.
According to comicbook.com, the discussion for “Prometheus” started when Ridley was asked if the fans will get to see Michael Fassbender in the sequel. Ridley Scott confirmed that he will definitely be in the movie and will play the role of David the android.
Ridley went on to say that the production for the movie will start in February and Michael will work for the coming sequel. Things are still in preparation and the location is yet to be decided.
Talking about the plot for the movie, he said that things will not start from the scratch. The movie will begin with Shaw’s mission who is on the look out, as to why the humanity was created and why they wanted to move us out. The director went on to say that fans and viewers cannot leave the previous movie behind and move ahead.
According to deadline.com, Peter Bradshaw, the film critic from The Guardian, gave three stars to “Prometheus” at the time it was released. He considered the movie to be spectacular, intricate and muddled. It was a success at the box office and it earned more than four hundred million dollars worldwide.
Fans are kept in the mystery for the plot of the new film, however, Michael will be joined by Noomi Rapace to play the role of archaeologist Elizabeth Shaw, the one she played in the first movie.
