Robbie Williams has called a music critic from Wellington a “baby eater” lately. He said so after he came across a writing in which the critic has lambasted the singer’s recent concert. After reading the scathing music review, obviously Robbie Williams would have wanted to dis the critic named Simon Sweetman.
The 41-year-old pop star has been on 2-day tour in New Zealand with Auckland as his last destination. Williams delivered his first performance at Wellington’s Basin Reserve and just rocked the Saturday night. “She’s The One” and “Rock DJ” singer crooned all the hits he has given so far.
Though Williams might have felt that he has given his all in the show to entertain the fans but according to nzherald.co.nz, a reviewer of The Dominion Post had all bad words to write about the concert. According to the critic, the pop star was a “ham-fisted hack.” The critic also wrote that Williams “showed just how far you can take karaoke if you’ve got the cheekbones.”
In the review, the controversial critic particularly focused on a cover of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. It stated, “Watching his thin sketch of a voice being plastered over the original” was no less than seeing any smile. It has been turned upside down and put on Mona Lisa’s mouth with crayons.
Williams is hurt, furious or offended; any reaction is justified in a limit according to many! Obviously no celebrity would want his goodwill or popularity among people to have deliberately dwindled by those who don’t like him. He flocked to Twitter and made a personal attack on the critic.
Williams posted a picture of the critic and captioned it as “baby eater.” In the picture, the critic is standing in a record store and is holding a baby. To this, one of the fans of Williams replied on Twitter, “lol sad how a UNPROFESSIONAL, disrespecting “reviewer” can become famous trough disrespect ..”
