“I get so much anxiety, I just can’t. I hated it and I was almost about to quit entirely before Twilight, I hated auditioning so much,” said the 28-year-old British actor during the interview.
Pattinson also talked about his experience at the Cannes Film Festival. He said that each movie was not just a movie. It was about gaining an experience and what you have become out of it. The actor also emphasized that he thinks Cannes is the only festival which really showcases the art of film.
Although the path to being one of the most celebrated young actors in Hollywood hasn’t been an easy stride, yet playing the role of Edward Cullen gave Pattinson a desired self-belief, self-confidence.
He also told revealed about his combat with paparazzi and how he fought back the never-ending rumors.
“Most of the time, I’m trying to hide things from everyone. Hiding more than revealing. I kind of struggle to not reveal too much,” explained Pattinson.
