Rock Band 4 is going to be released soon and the game will feature songs by some really big bands. The game will be released on Oct. 6, 2015. Read on for more details.
Rock Band 4 simulates a live concert environment where the players are supposed to tinker with music controllers to play a given song. Like its previous releases, the players score points if they hit the right notes using the music controllers. The songs that the players are supposed to play in the concert are all major hits by big bands. This makes the gameplay interestingly challenging and keeps players engaged in the game.
The game can be played in both single-player and multi-player mode. The multi-player mode can be set to local to include local players in the band.
The most interesting thing about Rock Band 4 is that it can be played in career mode. Players start off playing in a garage band-type band with a handful of fans and go on expanding their fan base until they get really good at their craft and become megastars of music. The number of fans and the number of gigs for the band decide the reward points the players get in the game. There are no negatives in this mode and players cannot lose points in this mode. The players do not get penalized in this mode either.
The songs can be chosen from the song list that comes with the game. Additional songs can be downloaded from the website. Players can select songs and sets for themselves while playing another song in the game. In the multiplayer mode, only songs that are available in entire band’s library can be chosen to be played.
The game will be made available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. All previously purchased content and peripherals will be supported for the game. The game will feature many songs by famous artists such as Lynyrd Skynard, REM, and Fleetwood Mac.
