Ronda Rousey Gets Candid About Her Crushing Defeat to Holly Holm
Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey is a tough girl. She may seem to be down at the moment but definitely not yet out.

Rousey was left unconscious after she was defeated by Holly Holm. She had to be admitted to a hospital immediately and felt sad about her loss. The superstar of the Ultimate Fighting Championship was compelled to reconcile with the fact that she cannot retire from the game undefeated. After all, she is not invincible as people had started believing about her.

Yes, Rousey is still recuperating because her stitches are still dissolving. Some of her teeth are yet to be stable after she received that big kick on her face from Holm during that all decisive match.

Rousey admitted to ESPN The Magazine that it would take another 3 to 6 months for her to start eating an apple.

In an interview given barely 2 weeks after her crushing defeat at her home in Venice, California, Rousey seemed to be optimistic. It was amazing as the recent fight had brought an astonishing end to the champion’s winning streak.

She has a tremendous urge to dominate the circuit once again especially after her detractors like Donald Trump’s tweet that he was happy that Rousey lost the fight as she was not a good person.

But the lady is definitely not sorry.

Rousey is not willing to apologize at all for being a tough lady and speaking to the point. She is not ready to be measured against a specific beauty standard.

In one of the episodes of UFC’s Embedded that got aired just before her match with Bethe Correia, she said she feels it is absolutely hilarious when people comment that her body appears to be masculine.

Her response is simple. She is of the viewpoint that just because her figure is not meant for the purpose of being used by millionaires sexually does not signify that it is masculine,

Ramona Shelburne of ESPN wrote of Rousey that the lady does not make herself go soft simply to make others comfortable in her presence.

Ronda Rousey said that many people are afraid of having their own opinions. It may be possible that everyone does not relate to her opinions and she does not care about that.
