After losing the fight against Holly Holm, it seems that the mixed martial artist Ronda Rousey is trying to ease the pain by kissing her boy friend Travis Browne.
The UFC fighter was seen in a rare case of flaunting PDA on Thursday when they were on their way out from the gym. Sources revealed that the UFC fighter was seen wrapping her arms affectionately around her beau and kiss him passionately. After that they were seen holding each other hands as they walked back to their car. The couple has been seeing each other since early summer this year.
Rousy was in news of late because of the recent UFC tournament between her and Holly Holm in which she suffered defeat. In the second round of the tournament, Rousey was kicked in the head by Holm because of which she suffered serious injuries and was admitted to hospital after she fell unconscious.
She received few stitches in her lip and some of her teethes are still unstable. The fighter revealed to ESPN the Magazine that she might take three to six months to get cured. She further added that throughout her recovery phase and after the defeat, Brown has been of immense support.
Rousy was not very keen on opening up about her romance with Brown before the match against Holm. But now she openly admits that she is happy to have Brown in her life as he deeply cares for her and also respects her a lot. She further said, “Even when everyone thinks the world of me, I still go to bed anxious and freaking out because I’m afraid of everything. The only time I’ve gotten a reprieve from that [feeling] in my life is since I’ve been with him.”
It is great to see that the fighter has found a soul mate who is helping her to cope after the brutal defeat and also nursing her back to health.
Meanwhile, Dana White, UFC President, has announced on Wednesday that Ronda Rousey’s rematch against Holy Holm’s would be held on July 9th. However, considering the fact that Rousy has suffered a health setback, Lenny Fresquez, Holly Holm’s manger, while expressing his concern, said that engaging in fight so early would not be a wise decision for her.
