Tommy Wiseau, director of the cult classic “The Room” has expressed his desire to direct the “Fantastic Four 2” for 20th Century Fox after the 2015’s “Fantastic Four” accrued inundated pessimistic reviews and performed awfully at the box office.  Read on for more details.

After the dreadful performance at the box office and all the controversies that grew up it is safe to say “Fantastic Four” was one of the biggest 2015 flop movie. Despite of these fact, FOX is stuck for creating a sequel  which is set to release on June 9, 2017 cites Comic Book and obviously there is much less  possibility of Josh Trank returning to direct “Fantastic Four 2.” Now the question lies, who should direct the sequel to recover Fox from such a drastic situation?

Recently in an interview with Milwaukee Magazine, while talking about “The Room” infamous director Tommy Wiseau revealed his desire to direct the sequel of “Fantastic Four” for the production.

“You know, I told you I saw this Fantastic Four….it just….I’m not being critical – let me put it this way, I like it, I did enjoy it number one.” Wiseau said.

Furthermore, the director said that he was depressed with the fact that FOX didn’t approach to him about the movie and he laughed out loud after commenting. But he made it understandable he’d be open for helming a sequel.

While, for FOX it is next to impossible to think about hiring Wiseau for directing “Fantastic Four 2” considering his correlation with the English language which invariably appeared flimsy at best. “The Room” which is deliberately not a comedy- has achieved a legacy as the pinnacle “so bad it’s good” movie – points out Cinema Blend and has evolved a cult succeeding that adores the innate hilarity in its absurd dialogue.

However, permitting the “Fantastic Four 2” for a Tommy Wiseau direction might well trigger a big deal of drone, but it would definitely isolate faithful fans of FF who wish to see their superheroes return to big screen with esteem.
