Rosie O’Donnell Consoles Her Ex Partner

Rosie O’Donnell’s ex Michelle Rounds has been hospitalized late Tuesday night, apparently due to an overdose of pills. Recently in February, O’ Donnell and Rounds have gone through a brusque split that followed a custody battle. But the estranged couple is seen together again in the dwindling phase of Rounds’ life.

People Magazine reveals O’Donnell was immensely supportive in the phase when Rounds was taken to a New York hospital. The incident even calls for the police investigation for the sake of a neutral proceeding and cops have kept everything confidential.

Rounds’ lawyer advocates that the 44-year-old is fine now. The accident seems to be something more than a mistaken consumption of pills. The report is speculating that it may be a clear attempt of suicide. Primarily, it has been suspected that the coarse time she is facing due to the divorce and custody has led her to take action. The source has reported that in the past few days, Rosie and Rounds were having some unpleasant arguments. Well now, only the completion of the investigation will unveil the truth.

The divorce on the grounds of “irretrievably broken relationship” and the custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Dakota, has seen many bitter days between the duo. But the bitterness is not so rigid now as O’Donnell has shared several poignant messages on social media to boost Rounds. Importantly, if Rounds has really attempted suicide, then Rosie will find it easier to hold the custody of their daughter.

Rosie O’Donnell was facing another turmoil as Chelsea, her 18-year-old daughter, went missing last month and was later found with an alleged heroin addict. As we reported before Rosie, the 53-year-old star is now dating an Academy Award winner, actress Tatum O’Neal.
