According to Fox News, Rosie O’Donnell stated that, she is absolutely stunned to watch the performances of each week and the effort everyone has put to their roles in the story. She further mentioned that she had to prepare a lot as she did not want to disappoint anyone. The level of acting in the series is fabulous along with the pace which they work.
The 53-year-old O’Donnell is said to play the role of a criminal who shared cell with Cookie Lyon played by Taraji P. Henson. O’Donnell is starred in the role of Pepper O’Leary who agrees to help Lyon in finding her family.
Currently residing in Philadelphia, Pepper O’Leary comes back to the bad business and helps her cell mate. O’Leary knows all whereabouts of Philadelphia and what all happens there. She will be appearing in Wednesday episode of “Empire” titled as “Sinned Against.”
She, in her tweet, mentioned that she was both honoured and shocked to get such an offer from creator Lee Daniels himself. She is a big time fan of the show and is super excited about her role.
Rosie O’Donnell is known for her appearances on shows like “The View” and “The Fosters.”
