With Christmas round the corner and everyone already planning what to do during the holidays, here is what the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge plan to do during that time.
Prince William, in an exclusive interview with the the magazine “The Big Issue,” revealed that they are all excited about Christmas, especially their two-year old son Prince George, who has started understanding the hustle and bustle about Christmas of late.
The father to Prince George and Princess Charlotte said that, like all Christmases, he is very excited about the upcoming festival season but he doubts whether he will get much sleep during that time. When asked what Prince George plans to do, he replied, “George will be bouncing around like a rabbit.”
While last year, Kate Middleton was five months pregnant with their second child, this year the proud parents are going to celebrate the Christmas with their little over two-year old son and seven-month daughter. The Duke revealed that as there will be two children, one of whom has just started understanding and appreciating Christmas, things will be “quite challenging.” He was quick to add that though there would be challenges, he is waiting eagerly for the festivities to start and to spend time with his two small kids.
Like all the years, this year too won’t be different in terms of spending time in the morning for a service with both the families present at St. Mary Magdalene Church located in Norfolk. After that, he said all of them are excited to see Prince George’s reaction as he unwraps all the presents given to him. While expressing his gratitude over spending time with family during the festive season he said, “It’s a very different experience at Christmas, having a family of your own.” Price William revealed to the magazine that he would love to have some snow during Christmas as it has been long since there has been a white Christmas.
Last year during Christmas, Kate Middleton and Prince William attended the Christmas party that was organised by Queen Elizabeth during the Christmas Eve. On Christmas day, after their customary church service, the Royal couple hosted dinner party with Kate’s parents and siblings Pippa and James in attendance.
