Everyone is excited for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and there are more than a few reasons to be. The movie will be the first one to unite DC’s Trinity, as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman will stand united. So when fans will actually march to the theaters to watch the movie, here’s how long they will be able to savor the DC trinity in action.
According to Cinema Blend, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has had almost every detail known yet until now no one was really sure as to how long will the movie run. Newly revealed updates have a clear figure and according to it, the movie will run for 151 minutes and that’s pure 151 minutes of Batman and Superman action. The media outlet stated that Comicbook.com managed to get the information from a German theatrical source, as the information about the movie is currently being issued to exhibitors. It is also being said that “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be about 8 minutes longer than “Man of Steel,” which for some fans only adds to the joy.
However it should be noted that “Man of Steel” was a standalone movie that highlighted the solo adventures of Superman apart from throwing some light on his origins when compared to “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” which will be more of a multiple superhero situation and will be setting the base for “Justice League.” Probably with the movie being more inclined towards Batman is a strategic move for DCEU in whole, which will unfold with the release of this movie. With the runtime now revealed, it makes us speculate that there indeed might be a room for multiple villains in the movie as it is now widely being speculated that the monster pitted against the DC trinity is not the only threat our heroes will be facing. Also since new theories suggest that the monster is actually Bizarro and not Doomsday, it only gives rise to more possibilities.
Collider added that in the new picture of Batman’s Batcave, the abode looks big enough for the Dark Knight’s Batwing to fly through. In the movie, Ben’s Bruce will not be staying in the Wayne Manor as it was already seen completely burnt and charred in one of the pictures. “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will release next year on March 25th.
