San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Schedule

San Diego Comic-Con has been the home for showcasing new storylines, comic series and comic characters among known comic book franchises.  Comic-con 2014 officially launches on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Now on its 45th run, the convention will showcase special screenings, studio and network panels and previews of current and upcoming titles within comic book, movie and TV franchises. HBO’s “Game of Thrones” and AMC’s “The Walking Dead” panels will be presented in Hall H.
HBO’s “True Blood” will bid goodbye for its final season in Ballroom 20, as well as “Penny Dreadful.” Marvel Studios and Warner Bros. will both make presentations for upcoming titles such as “Mad Max: Fury Road” and “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.”

Thursday,  July 24, 2014:“24: Live Another Day” (10:00 a.m., Ballroom 20)
Kiefer Sutherland will be moderating a panel on the recently finished “24: Live Another Day” and the upcoming home entertainment release of the limited event series.

“Penguins of Madagascar” (11:30 a.m.,  Hall H)
DreamWorks will held a panel for their upcoming animated “Penguins of Madagascar” with Benedict Cumberbatch and co-stars.

George R.R. Martin Discusses “In the House of The Worm” (4:00 p.m.,  Indigo Ballroom, Hilton San Diego Bayfront)
Martin will present his newest comic series.

Friday, July 25, 2014:
“Mike Tyson Mysteries” (2:30 p.m., Indigo Ballroom, Hilton San Diego Bayfront)
Tyson will be talking about his upcoming “Adult Swim,” an animated comedy series.

“Horns” (3:00 p.m., Hall H)
A presentation on an upcoming movie based on a paranormal book of the same title.
Daniel Radcliffe, “Horn’s” main protagonist, will be present along co-star Juno Temple,
director Alexandre Aja and novelist Joe Hill.

“The Maze Runner” (4:20 p.m., Hall H)
20th Century Fox presents  its upcoming sci-fi movie, “The Maze Runner,” an adaptation from James Dashner’s 2009 novel.

“Book of Life” (4:20 p.m.,  Hall H)
FOX’s panel for the highly anticipated animation, “Book of Life”

Saturday, July 26, 2014:Warner Bros.’ “The Hobbit,” “Jupiter Ascending” and “Mad Max” (10:00 p.m.,  Hall H)
A presentation on the upcoming featured titles by Warner Bros.

“Spotlight on Jim Steranko” (1:00 p.m.,  Room 9)
Panel on  Marvel’s Jim Steranko  and his contributions to the studio.

“Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For” (2:50 p.m.,  Hall H)
Director Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller and cast discusses the “Sin City” sequel.

Marvel Cinematic Universe (5:30 p.m.,  Hall H)
Panel on upcoming Marvel movie titles, such as “Ant-man” and “Dr. Strange.” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is set to appear on the panel.

“American Horror Story: Coven” (7:00 p.m.,  Room 6DE)
Panel on the Emmy-nominated FX miniseries.

Sunday, July 27, 2014:

“Sons of Anarchy” (12:30 p.m.,  Hall H)
Panel for the last season of FX biker drama, “Sons of Anarchy.”

Quentin Tarantino (2:15 p.m.,  6BCF)
Panel on Quentin  Tarantino’s comic book sequel of “Django Unchained.”
