The Critics Choice awards began with an exciting start. We were barely 30 minutes in to the awards when we saw (and heard) the F-Word being thrown around on stage. The word was used by not one, but two famous stars, Sandra Bullock and Bradley Cooper.
As Sandra made her way on stage to accept her award for Best Actress for her works in her latest action movie, Gravity which she starred in alongside another big star, George Clooney, She began her speech by thanking, Jackie Chan, Sylvester Stallone and Jean-Claude Van Damme for aiding her: “I’d like to thank Jackie Chan, Sylvester Stallone, Jean-Claude Van Damme for teaching me everything I know.”
She was continuing her speech when a recording began to play for a category and then cut-off. Sandra jokingly reacted to this by saying: “What the f–k?! I’m an action star.”
She then thanked director Alfonso Cuarón, adding, “And George Clooney for floating away and never coming back,” poking fun at Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s Gravity joke from the Golden Globes.
Sandra wasn’t alone when it came to spilling out the F-Word on live TV. Bradley Cooper continued the trend as went on stage to accept his award for Best Comedy for his works in the Movie, American Hustle, referring to his co-stars as ‘These F——g Actors’.
These awards aren’t the only time that Bullock has done something crazy-like on live TV. Back in 2010 Bullock planted a big kiss on the lips of the beautiful actress, Meryl Streep (and who wouldn’t want to?)
With the Awards show going the way they are, I can’t wait to see what happens on tonight’s show.
