Naya Rivera recently shared her first child’s photo to the public. Read on to know more.

Rivera, a “Glee” alum, who played the character of Santana Lopez, took to Instagram to share a photo of her adorable one-month-old child with husband Ryan Dorsey.


With a caption, saying “Trick or treat!” Rivera’s photo was of her baby boy, Josey, garbed in a black skeleton onesie. This was a very much-anticipated post, since her fans have been patiently waiting to peep the Dorsey baby, as the twosome has maintained a level of discretion while they were preparing for parenthood.

According to E! News, Rivera has been active on social media since the beginning of this month and has been sharing to her followers, the joys of being a mom. “It really is a full time job! Josey is so sweet and looks exactly like his daddy!” she said.

It looks like Rivera is learning to strike the balance between keeping their privacy, while being able to share some details to the public when she announced she was expecting.


The 28-year-old new mother opened up to a pregnancy blog for People Magazine, wherein she explained how eager she was to start a fresh stage of her life as a mom.

“When I reached the final leg of my pregnancy, I was ecstatic. I could see the finish line and it felt so good,” Rivera said. “I’m so grateful that not only is our baby already surrounded with so much love, but that we are fortunate and able to provide a great life for the little one. So hats off to all of the strong, powerful women and mothers in the world, baby or no baby, you’re all amazing!” she added.
