Sarah Danielle Goldberg, who played Sarah Glass Camden on “7th Heaven,” died in her sleep on Sept. 27, 2014 in Wisconsin. She was 40. Even though an autopsy was not able to determine the cause of death, Goldberg’s mother, Judy, believes a heart disorder may have eventually caused her passing. Read on for further details.
American actress Sarah Danielle Madison (Sept. 6, 1974 – Sept. 27, 2014) was born Sarah Goldberg in Chicago, Illinois. She is sporadically credited by her birth name. She graduated from The Latin School of Chicago in1992 and from Amherst College in 1996. She moved west to pursue a career in acting and glamorou world. Goldberg got her entry into show business helping arrange table linens and serving as an extra in “My Best Friend’s wedding,” which was filmed in the area.
Since then, Goldberg had done multiple film and TV roles during her lifetime, including “Jurassic Park III,” “The Beast,” “Judging Amy,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “Without a Trace,”and the reboot of “Beverly Hills 90210.”
In “7th Heaven,” she played the daughter of a rabbi and love interest of Matt Camden. Their interfaith relationship saga swiftly became a fan-favorite plot of one of the longest running family oriented show. She also played a collegian on the lookout for drugs in “Training Day.”
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, her family confirmed the news. “She went to sleep and didn’t wake up,” told her mother to the publication.
Goldberg is survived by her loving parents, Judy and Bill Goldberg; her brother Bradley and his wife Michelle, a niece and nephew; and her two dogs, Daisy and Bucket.
“She would walk the street here, or places in Wisconsin, and people would come up to her and say, ‘You played the daughter. She wanted to go to medical school, and instead for three years she played a doctor on “7th Heaven,” stated her mother on Chicago Sun-Times.
