NBC has just pulled out “Saving Hope” from their TV show lineup due to low ratings, but that doesn’t mean that the Canadian TV show will not air anymore because we have some good news for you!
According to TV Line, ION will bring back “Saving Hope” and the network will be airing the upcoming third season consisting of 18 episodes. The network will also air the previous two seasons of the show. The third season of “Saving Hope” will premiere on September 22, 2014 on Canada’s CTV, but no specific time yet has been released for ION.
“Saving Hope” is a medical drama with a kick of supernatural stuff going on inside the Hope Zion Hospital where Dr. Alex Reid (“Smallville”) works. Reid, who was once in a comatose, told his story and what happens when a person is in a state of comatose. Now that he’s okay and out of that state, he gained a “third eye.” The cast also includes Daniel Gilles, Julia Taylor Ross, Huse Madhavji and Kristopher Turner.
NBC aired the first season of “Saving Hope” during 2012 but after that, the network did not pursue with the series for its second season. On the other hand, ION has been airing Canadian offerings such as “The Listener” and “Rookie Blue,” and now they have picked another Canadian TV show to air, which is ”Saving Hope.”
