“Scandal” Season 3 Episode 18 “The Price of Free and Fair Elections” is set to air on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 10 p.m. on ABC. Olivia (Kerry Washington) can’t help but fix everything by herself as events in the mad,mad world of politics continue to escalate. Read on to find out more about “Scandal” Season 3 Episode 18 “The Price of Free and Fair Elections” and “Scandal” Season 3 Episode 17 “Flesh and Blood” recap.

“Scandal” Season 3 Episode 17 “Flesh and Blood” Recap:

“Scandal” Season 3 Episode 17 “Flesh and Blood” (air date: April 10, 2014) began after the Gladiators and B6-13 had an agreement to take down Olivia’s mother, Maya (Khandi Alexander). After learning about Maya and the bomb, the boys in the life of our fixer heroine came to the Gladiators headquarters but it wasn’t easy for everyone.

It seems that “Scandal” creator had incorporated a tangled web of love triangles this season.

Olivia-Fitz-Jake. Jake (Scott Foley) accused Olivia of treason when the President arrived. Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) learned about Olivia’s recent sexcapade with his old friend in pursuit of getting information about B6-13.

Fitz-Mellie-Andrew-Big Jerry. In “Scandal” Season 3 Episode 16 “The Fluffer” (air date: April 3, 2014), Olivia had finally granted Fitz’ “needs” about the love affair between Mellie (Bellamy Young) and Andrew (Jon Tenney). This time, Mellie is still haunted by the secret she shared with Big Jerry (Barry Bostwick). She doesn’t have a choice but to face the truth about the paternity of Little Jerry (Dylan Minnette).

Rowan-Maya Lewis-Dominic. Rowan/Eli/Ex-Commander/Olivia’s dad (Joe Morton) arrived at the O.P.A. office and he was welcomed with awkwardness in the air. He later revealed that Dominic Bell (Sebastian Roche) is somewhat connected with him and Maya. The bomb-maker was actually the love of Maya’s life before Rowan.

Huck-Quinn-Charlie. Quinn (Katie Lowes) is caught between the bickering killers Huck (Guillermo Diaz) and Charlie (George Newbern).

Sally-Cyrus-Power. Well, this is not a relationship between two lovers but rather, their pursuit in the name of power. Both are now left loveless after their other halves died/got killed. Sally (Kate Burton) and Leo (Paul Adelstein) continued looking for any loophole about the paternity of Little Jerry. On the other hand, Cyrus (Jeff Perry) tried to gain the upper hand after he didn’t let the President go to the eulogy where there was a planted bomb. Vice President Langston and Andrew were in attendance there.

Meanwhile, Abby (Darby Stanchfield) and David (Joshua Malina) remained a strong couple as they helped Olivia and Jake bring Maya down. On the other hand, Little Jerry’s girlfriend McKenzie (Juliette Goglia) slept with him to get DNA for Leo Bergen.
