Only Cyrus knew about the bomb at Senator Hightower’s funeral, where Sally Langston was also one of the attendees. It was too late for Jake to inform the President who was practicing for his speech. An unscathed Langston was told by Leo Bergen to use this opportunity for sympathy.
Fitz realized that it might be the end of his political career as U.S. President. He pleaded Olivia to accompany and live with him in Vermont. He assured her that there’s going to be no problem about his divorce. Unfortunately, Olivia told him about Millie’s secret that his father raped her before and Fitz went to confront his wife. Millie said the DNA tests proved that Fitz is indeed the father of Jerry.
Later, Fitz continued with his campaign while Olivia went to see Maya for the last time before she left for good. Things went bizarre when blood start gushing out of Jerry’s nose in the middle of Fitz’ speech. Jerry was immediately sent to the hospital, but it was too late. Jerry died due to bacterial meningitis, which was thought to be caused by Maya.
Quinn was informed by Charlie about Huck’s family. Rowan, on the other hand, gave a picture of a dead Adnan to Harrison. He also said to Fitz that Maya is now dead. He was then visited by Harrison, who finally learned about his devious plot as Command. It was revealed that Tom was also an agent for B613 and was the one who killed Jerry and Adnan.
Back at the office, Olivia told everyone that she will leave the team along with Jake. Jake asked her if he could join her so ” they can stand in the sun together.” Jake went to see David and gave the files he had while he was the Command for B613. The episode ended with Fitz winning the election, but he wasn’t happy because Olivia was not near him. Mellie tried to contact her, but Olivia cut the call off.
