Scarlett Johansson graces the Glamour and Vanity Fair covers for its May 2014 issues. Not only that, Vanity Fair named her as a state-of-the-art bombshell. Seriously, what is not to like about Scarlett Johansson? It was never a question of her face value, but her flexibility as an actress has paved ways to different movie genres. She can play a king’s mistress (“The Other Boleyn Girl”), a man-eating alien (“Under the Skin”) and a kick-ass agent (“The Avengers,” “Iron Man 2” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”). With two “Sexiest Woman Alive” recognitions from Esquire, who would be in the right mind to challenge someone like her or even be compared to her?

Everyone would agree that 2014 is Scarlett Johansson’s year, as she has faced different controversies, yet she is able to rise above all those. Currently, Johansson is an expectant mother to her first child with her fiancé, French journalist Romain Dauriac. The couple are also engaged and would likely tie the knot soon. Johansson was married to Ryan Reynolds in 2008. She started dating her new partner in November 2012.

And to prove that Johansson is indeed a favourite, she also graces the cover of Glamour magazine for its May 2014 issue. Two birds with one stone, huh? Glamour magazine is kind enough to post a sneak peek of the interview with Johansson. The star openly talked about how she is different now, especially on relationship matters. Johansson claimed that she knows herself better and what she wants in a relationship. She explained being able to reflect about the events in her life and the connection she managed to establish within herself. She claimed that it was not about whom she was married to or what was the current status of their marriage. It was about where she was in a certain point of her life.

“When I was first married, I was much younger. And I have had the opportunity now to work more on getting to know myself. I think that makes you a better partner and somebody who is able to work with somebody and stay in a relationship in the not-romantic moments. I have more patience with myself. I have more patience with my partner. I think that just comes with age, probably,” said Johansson in the Glamour magazine feature.

And that’s it for the Scarlett Johansson spotlight. Glamour magazine’s May 2014 issue will be available on April 18, 2014, while Vanity Fair’s digital edition will be available on April 10, 2014. Go grab your copy of each!
