The “Scorpion” team, by now, is no stranger to the extreme, as they have gone from one death defying situation to another. However, when romantic feelings are involved, the stakes for two particular “Scorpion” teammates gets inexplicably higher. WARNING: This article will contain spoilers for the winter premiere of the second season of “Scorpion.”
The mid-season or winter finale of “Scorpion” managed to give audiences a good mix of high octane action, emotions and romance, as several pairs took another step into their own relationships.

Walter O’Brien (Elyes Gabel), after his first emotional outburst since his sister’s death, managed to take his relationship with Paige Dineen (Katharine McPhee) to another level, slowly but surely, by holding her hand.
Meanwhile, Happy Quinn (Jadyn Wong) decided to step back and let Toby Curtis (Eddie Kaye Thomas) take the lead in their relationship by letting him kiss her instead of the other way around.
As much as fans are happy that these two pairs are finally beginning to move forward in their respective relationships, Happy’s and Toby’s relationship will definitely be tested in the upcoming winter premiere.
According to the report on TV Line, the winter premiere of “Scorpion,” which will air on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 9:00 PM on CBS, will see the team performing a rescue in one of the harshest climates they have ever been in.
In the upcoming episode, Team Scorpion will travel to Antartica in order to save a lost Special Forces Unit. However, along the way, Happy gets lost, causing a very worried Toby to go out on his own to look for her.
In the promotional video that was released on Spoiler TV, Happy is seen slumped and unconscious, against a pile of snow.
In another, scene, Toby tries his best to keep Happy from freezing to death in the only way he can, by snuggling up against her in a thermal sleeping bag.
Happy, of course, has no say in this as she is unconscious or sleeping, which, of course, is worrying, as everyone knows that sleeping while lost in a snowy wilderness might mean certain death.
The show often puts its main characters in death defying situations, but over the course of one and a half seasons, Happy has seen more than her own share of scares. And each time, Toby tries to warn her, gets worried, and often tries to rescue Happy.
However, this time is different as the two have decided to pursue a relationship with each other.
