In less than a month, fans and viewers of the CBS procedural “Scorpion” will return to the team’s garage headquarters, and enjoy another season of action, adventures, misadventures, and interesting relationships. The first season teased a number of relationships, both romantic and platonic, but with Toby Curtis (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Happy Quinn (Jadyn Wong) at the beginnings of a relationship, based on the fact that Happy accepted Toby’s invitation to babysit Ralph Dineen (Riley B. Smith), after being stood up by Toby on their first date, the biggest question on everyone’s minds is whether or not Paige Dineen (Katharine McPhee) and genius Walter O’Brien (Elyes Gabel) will finally get together. However, according to a recent report, the pair might just stumble across a little wrinkle to this in the first half of the second season. WARNING: This article contains spoilers regarding the sixth episode of the upcoming second season of “Scorpion”. Read on to learn more about the challenge that Paige and Walter will face together in the first half of the first season.

According to a recent report on TV Line, Paige Dineen (Katharine McPhee) might just have some competition to genius Walter O’Brien’s (Elyes Gabel) affections. The sixth episode of the season, which doesn’t have a title yet, will feature a very beautiful woman, who will enter into Walter’s view, during the course of a mission.

However, much to Paige’s relief, and to fans of this particular relationship, it will be later revealed that Paige’s competition was only pretending to get closer to Walter. She is in fact on a mission to sabotage a security system designed by Walter.

What will be interesting to watch, however, is Paige’s reactions as these events unfold, and as to how she will react when all is said and done.

This isn’t the first time that Walter has been derailed by a beautiful woman, as it has happened before in the first season. However, when that did happen, Paige, who, along with other members of the team, were watching, didn’t feel comfortable with the situation.

How do you think Paige will react to this? How do you think this will affect the pair’s relationship with each other?  Let us know your theories and what you think in the comments below!

And that was all for the spoilers for the sixth episode in the upcoming second season of  “Scorpion”. For more news, updates and spoilers on “Scorpion” and other television shows, keep on following Movie News Guide (MNG).
