A reunion between two former “Scrubs” co-stars will be happening, as “Ground Floor” returns for its second season on TBS. Read on for the details.

Christa Miller will be visiting and reuniting with her former “Scrubs” co-star, John C. McGinley, on his show, “Ground Floor.” According to Entertainment Weekly, Miller will assume the role of Allie Mansfield, the better half of McGinley’s character, Mr. Remington Stewart Mansfield, in the sophomore cable comedy series.

For at least five seasons, both Miller and McGinley used to work together as husband and wife, Perry and Jordan, in the NBC comedy “Scrubs.” The show ran from 2001 to 2010. Hence, this will be the second time they’re teaming together as a couple on the small screen. Coincidentally, Allie is also described as kind of a brassy woman, much like her previous character, Jordan. She is also the only person in the world her husband bows down to.

For fans of “Scrubs,” this reunion should ignite a very familiar vibe between the co-stars. The two have undeniable chemistry and timing, as demonstrated in their scenes together, which you can watch in the video below.

Miller, by the way, is married in real life to “Ground Floor” executive producer and “Scrubs” creator Bill Lawrence, so the pair up does make sense as all three have already worked together. Miller usually does have direct associations with his real-life husband’s shows, including “Cougar Town,” which stars Courteney Cox. Lawrence produced the series after “Scrubs” in 2009, and it’s also being aired on TBS.

With this mini-reunion, will other “Scrubs” stars also visit “Ground Floor” soon?

Ground Floor,” which also features Skylar Astin (“Pitch Perfect”) and Briga Heelan (“Undateable”), is a workplace romantic comedy. It follows the story of a finance guy who works on the upper floors and falls in love with the office support staff who works on the ground floor.  The show, which launched in November 2013, will officially return for Season 2 for ten episodes on Dec. 9, 2014 on TBS.
