The power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, also known as ‘Brangelina’ will be once again seen together in a movie titled “By The Sea” almost after 10 years. The couple was last seen in Doug Liman’s 2005 released romantic comedy action film “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” and since then made many appearances off screen but not on-screen.
It was previously speculated that the upcoming film is about the personal life of the couple but now Jolie discarded all such speculations by saying that it would be an impossible thing for them to make a movie based on their personal matters.
“Brad and I have our issues … but if the characters were even remotely close to our problems, we couldn’t have made the film,” stated the “Maleficent” star while an interview with the Vogue magazine.
Jolie clearly said that the movie is not an autobiographical work though she is the writer cum director for the same. Brangelina in a joint statement said, “This is a story about a relationship derailed by loss, the tenacity of love and the path to recovery and acceptance,” revealed ET.
The couple further added, “It has been a privilege to explore these universal human experiences with such a generous and talented cast and crew.”
Jolie considered the shooting of the movie as the second honeymoon for the couple. She also revealed that they categorized the script into categories like “challenging,” “crazy one,” and “worst idea,” but at the end made them much stronger than they previously are.
“By The Sea” is slated for Nov. 13 release and the duo is eagerly waiting for it as they want to see how the fans welcome them. Let us wish the stars all the very best for it.
