Demi Lovato, in her recent interview to MTV, tells that she and Salena have finally settled their differences and are back to bestie status!
Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato both grew up in Texas and have been friends since 2002 when they filmed ‘Barney & Friends’ together. The duo also appeared on TV together and even have worked on music but there was a time Demi admitted in 2010 when the couple stopped talking. And since then it’s been a bumpy ride!
But Demi says that they both have realized that life is too short for the people who are close to your heart, and so they both are now better than ever.
“We’ve been through a lot together, we’ve had periods of times we here we grew apart and we just didn’t really talk,” Demi told MTV. “Now we are in a place where I think we realized that life is so short and that when you have people in your life that love you so much then, you should just always be around them. She’s going to be a big sister, and I want to be around for that. Everything about her, she has a great soul, she’s talented, she’s beautiful, and she will always be really, really close to my heart.”
Demi also comes out to be a big fan of Salena’s new single “Come & Get It,” and she’s even proud of her musical success.
“I love her single ‘Come & Get It,’ ” Demi said. “I went on vacation in Barbados, and that’s all I listened to, and that’s all me and my other friends blared, and when it comes on the radio, I turn it up really loud and tell everyone to shut up unless they are singing it, but it’s so awesome to see her come so far.”
And this feeling isn’t uni-directional; Salena already said she loves Lovato’s new single “Heart Attack,” and also appreciated her own individual style.
