Music lovers have been crooning Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber’s duet “Strong” since it has been aired on Drake’s OVO Sound Radio some days back. It might have been all planned, but the trick has worked. Fans love the duet.
The romantic duet released after the break-up might come as a surprise to many, but fans must know that it’s just a business decision and has nothing to do with matters of the heart. An insider has told Hollywood Life that they both were aware of the fact they have albums to be released in 2015 and the duet would give them the needed exposure.
“Strong” was played three weeks before Bieber’s “Purpose” was to be released and one week after Gomez’s “Revival” had been released. The beautiful track was removed from popular channels, SoundCloud and YouTube immediately within hours it had been uploaded. Now fans are all curious to find the track and are talking about it a lot.
The song’s lyrics go like this. Gomez starts with, “I’m just wishing you were better at communication” and continues to sing “wishing I was better with the distance.” After this Bieber sings, “Yes, ’cause you’re the only one I’m really missing,” and “nobody else would be forgiving.”
The source of HollywoodLife said, “If they can piggyback off each other” to get some publicity, they don’t mind it. Even if it was done for commercial reason, the fans have rest assured that their favorite singers, Gomez and Bieber are on good terms with each other and have been in the same studio to sing the track after the break up.
But there has come a bit of more news from a different source. A source of Gossipcop lately reported, Gomez and Bieber “recorded it over three years ago, just for fun” when both were dating each other. This news is spreading like wildfire and making fans wonder what’s going on?
