Rumors will always be rumors unless you did something to stop it; this is what Selena Gomez did when she clarified the issue about her having a fit to Katy Perry when she joined Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video. Read on for more details.
As most of us know, there were reports that the song “Bad Blood” was written by Swift to diss the “Dark Horse” singer. As a result, some people especially the fans couldn’t help but to think that when Gomez joined the star-studded music video have also issues with Perry. It was also because she portrayed a character that resembles Perry’s image who turned out to be the antagonist in the video.
In return, E! News reported that Gomez quickly quashed the reports that the issue is definitely not true!
When Gomez was asked by the hosts of the New Zealand radio show “The Edge Afternoons” if it is true that she called KP after the “Bad Blood” video just to make sure the singer knew that she will be featuring in the music video and she’s not being mean to her.
I “That’s false, I love Katy. I just talked to her. She’s amazing. But I didn’t talk about that, but I just talked to her. She’s awesome.” Gomez said.
Meaning the 22-year-old singer doesn’t have “Bad Blood” to the “Roar” singer after all!
On the other hand, in her recent interview with Radio.com “Good For You” singer also says that she tries to become friends with all women in the industry. She learned that it’s important for female artists to support each other.
Gomez explained that when you get older we realize there are certain things we can’t control. There’s jealousy or competition, people comparing each other.
“You just have to know who you are. I support every woman, even if they don’t support me. I still support them,” Gomez added.
