Using an excuse that is seldom used at the top of the celebrity chain, Selena Gomez, the famed Disney star and now very well known for her works in the music industry has cancelled her upcoming tour of Asia and Australia. It looks like the star needs some time alone with herself.
Her reps had stated last month that her ‘Star Dance’ tour would go about in the Outback and through Asia in the New Year. The tour included stops at Japan, China, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore.
Selena was booked for 13 shows from around mid January which included five city stops where she would’ve also performed at the Perth Arena in the start of February, then at the Brisbane Convention Center, Sydney and wrapping the show up at the Rod Laver in Melbourne. The entire tour of Selena was nulled on Friday.
The star being aware of the effects of the cancellation humbly apologized and had this to say to her beloved fans:
“My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them,” comments Gomez in a statement issued by promoter Live Nation. “But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be. To my fans, I sincerely apologize and I hope you guys know how much each and every one of you means to me.”
