Selena Gomez no longer suffers heartache after break up with Justin Bieber. In a recent interview, she talks about the bond she shares with ex-boyfriend, her career and sexuality. Read on!
The 23-year-old Gomez, who has spent most of her life staying in the spotlight, in an interview with Refinery29 said that her heart was broken and she was pissed off too. She said but “I never wanted my career to be a tabloid story.” The singer has moved on for sure and her new single, “Same Old Love” says it all.
Gomez said that she does not feel any anger for Bieber and they are on good terms with each other. They have also met each other after break up. She said that she encourages him and feels proud of whatever he has achieved so far.
“I think people are making it out to be something that is more tragic than it really was,” Gomez said. She explained that they have grown up together and have made mistakes and it was just this and nothing more.
Gomez is also basking in the glory for her new album titled “Revival” lately in which her fans would see her in next to no clothing. Apart from her heart break, the album also expresses sexuality. On this, she said that she does not want to show to people what’s happening in her bedroom. But “I think I have a very healthy perspective on my sexuality. It’s part of being an adult, and I’m still figuring out how to be one of those, too.”
Gomez also told the magazine about her close friends who include her two roommates who are not yet famous, a cousin and famous singer, Taylor Swift. She called Jennifer Aniston and Kerry Washington her two mentors. Gomez strongly feels that women are “interesting, complicated and beautiful” and she would prefer to stay around them rather than men.
