The successful run of Netflix series “Sense8” has paved the way for “Sense8” season 2. While the release date for the next season is so far set for mid of 2016, the dedicated fans and viewers are wondering how the science fiction drama thriller will evolve as the previous season ended with a cliffhanger.

According to Yibada, although the date of “Sense8” season 2 is still not fixed, the rumors are in the air that the series could be out by June 2016. While taking the example of “House of Cards” of Netflix, the first season was aired on Feb. 1, 2013, while the second and third seasons were aired on Feb 14, 2014 and Feb. 27, 2015, respectively. If this could be the case of Netflix’s “House of Cards,” then we can expect “Sense8” season 2 in the mid of next year.

However, Realty Today gives another update that may upset the fans of “Sense8.” The website writes that the release date of the show may be “pushed back to late 2016 or as late as 2017.” The probable truth in the news has emerged from a recent interview of John Toll, a Cleveland-born American cinematographer with The Film Stage. Toll said that he might come back on the set of “Sense8” season 2 but the main subject which is to be decided yet is the scheduling.

“I think so. We’re talking about it. It’s just sort of starting to fall into place with scheduling and everything,” Toll opined.
