“Sense8” continues to gain support from fans online as it awaits its decision about renewal for a second season. Internet streaming giant Netflix has not yet made an announcement about the show’s renewal but co-creator of the show J. Michael Straczynski along with fans continue to remain hopeful that the show will return soon to wow audiences even more. Read on.
According to Venture Capital Post, J.Michael Straczynski along with the Wachowskis attended the Comic-Con at San Diego and gave some hints about his projects including “Sense8.” With the show’s co-creators presence at the event, many fans assembled to listen to him. The Netflix original series has not received a decision about its fate till now because it seems the streaming giant might take some more time to announce its renewal, but that has kept all the fans hanging highly curious and wanting to know the decision. However Straczynski maintains that he is hopeful that the series will see an official announcement being made about its renewal for a second season because he was informed about the massive following the show has, from none other than the representatives of the streaming giant itself. Despite the massive support online from its fans, critics continue to stand by what they think about the show. Unfortunately, their reviews about the show have not been that positive. One article about the show mentioned that the events occurring on “Sense8” negates its own theory. One of the theory being that mutation caused people to lose their ability to share the telepathic contact with others and hence making them capable to kill each other. An example was given in the form of Wolfgang blowing up Steiner with a rocket launcher.
Daryl Hannah, who plays Angelica Turing on the show, mentioned that there is so much left to reveal on the show that will further intrigue the fans. For the time being, we can all hope that the streaming giant will announce its decision soon and give fans what they love.
