Shakira proved once again that she is one of the hottest singer-performer of her time when she flaunted her striking figure in a strappy sequined outfit with flirty fringes — the kind of looks that only Shakira can pull together. While beating the drums, Shakira sang “Dare” and dance together with Samba shakers, Ivete Sangalo, and Brazilian percussionist and singer, Carlinhos Brown.

This is not the closest she could get to World Cup. Shakira and Gerard Pique, Spain’s soccer star, have a son together according to Hollywood Life. Moreover, in 2010, Shakira’s “Waka Waka” was the anthem of World Cup South Africa. Four years before that, she performed “Hips Don’t Lie” in Germany.

Shakira’s stunning act was followed by spirited live performance of the 2014 World Cup anthem, “Dar Um Jeito” (We Will Find a Way), from Alexander Pires, Wyclef and Santana.

The Daily Mail reported that the audience started to roar in excitement at the end of the 20-minute show, signaling the beginning of the final match between Germany and Argentina. At the final part of the performance before the match, all the artists came out on stage and danced together, while Shakira was holding her son with Gerard, Milan, who was wearing a green and white striped top.

Also watching the finals live was David Beckham and sons, Brooklyn and Romeo, both wearing Argentina shirts.

According to Billboard, for Shakira, her performance at the 2014 World Cup is as memorable as the day she met Gerard Pique. In an interview, she said that she has an intricate relationship with football for a very obvious reason and that the World Cup means a lot to her that is why she would want to perform again and again for it if given the chance.
