Like every proud mama, Shakira posted yet again another photo of her new baby boy Sasha, and this time, she gave the world a glimpse of the baby’s cute face. Obviously, she just can’t get enough of her baby!
On Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, Shakira posted on Twitter “We’d like to introduce you to Sasha Piqué Mebarak”, accompanied with a link to the World Baby Shower website that she and boyfriend Gerard Piqué started in partnership with UNICEF, even back in 2012 when they were expecting their eldest son Milan.

Upon opening the website, you’d be sure to look in awe at the cute baby photo of Sasha, from the rather sleepy look to his already thick hair. This is the second photo Shakira posted of Sasha, although the first one was just of his foot mere hours after he was born. She likened the little one’s foot to that of proud daddy Pique, and thinks Sasha may be a footballer someday too.
According to Great-grandfather Amador Bernabéu (Piqué’s grandfather), in a report by Hello!, he had seen a photo of Sasha and believe that he looks like his father, which is quite a fair shot since Sasha’s older brother Milan resembles his mother. On the other hand, others claim that Sasha got his features equally from both of his parents, like Pique’s feet and hair and Shakira’s facial features. Nevertheless, Sasha still ended up to be as good looking as the rest of the members of his family.
In an interview for Latina’s April 2014 issue, Shakira reveals her hopes on having a large family, “If it weren’t because of my music projects, I would be pregnant already. I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard—my own fútbol team.” And now with two boys, Shakira is getting close to having that football team she’d always wanted!
Who do you think Baby Sasha resembles more, mom Shakira or dad Gerard Piqué? Post your comments below.
