Why Sherri Shepherd still refuses to discuss her legal fight with her ex-husband on “The View”? Read on for more details.
The 48-year-old celebrity host is set to have her comeback in “The View” this September, and everyone is wondering if she’s now ready to discuss her battle with her ex-husband Lamar Sally, but it seems like although the show is well-known for discussing sensitive issues, there’s only one topic that she refuses to touch, and it’s her ongoing legal woes with her ex-husband.
According to RadarOnline, Shepherd has been very vocal about not wanting to have another child, but still, she has been declared as the legal mother of the child born by means of surrogate with her ex. In return, she’s been ordered by a Pennsylvania court to pay her ex-husband a child support per month worth $4,100. And now, Shepherd is still in the process of making an appeal decision.
Shepherd was asked if she is ready to spill the beans if ever viewers will ask her about this personal matter in her return to “The View,” and she said that she does not want to talk about it out of respect for her former partner, Sally and his son.
According to her, “He’s not in the press, so he’s happy and getting the money he wanted. I’m moving forward.”’
Shepherd also added that she also has a 10-year-old son named Jeffrey, and his boy takes all her time and energy. She’s satisfied with her life and even her son feels the same way.
Adding that she has no plans of dating anyone any time soon. She expressed her desire of having time to herself, to enjoy her life without being with anyone. Besides, she also said that she does not have money for pre-nup and confidentiality agreement, that she can’t hire another lawyer to pay.
