Groups such as Girl’s Generation, Big Bang, 2NE1 and Super Junior, today, are known around the world. However, despite the fact that they have been around for quite some time, and have contributed a lot to the meteoric rise of the Hallyu wave, one mustn’t forget that the earlier proponents of that wave are the ones that came before them, groups, such as Shinhwa, and it’s members, like Shin Hye Sung, were part of that success, and are still relevant. This is seen with the fact that fans are quite excited for Shinhwa’s Shin Hye Sung’s tenth anniversary album, which will be released soon. Read on to learn more about Shin Hye Sung’s plans for his tenth anniversary album and his planned activities for next year.
Shinhwa’s Shin Hye Sung has been in the Korean entertainment industry for around a decade already, and according to Soompi, earlier this year, in celebration, he had a repackaged version of his solo album released, much to the delight of his fans.
Shin Hye Sung, is what one would call a “first generation” Korean pop idol, a member of a group that formerly used to be under SM Entertainment, the entertainment group responsible for groups such as EXO, Super Junior and Girls’ Generation, and whose group, Shinhwa, still has a pretty solid fan base.
Recently, according to another article on Soompi, the singer, in a live streaming event via the Naver V application, apologized to his fans about the delay in the release of his tenth anniversary album.
He said that he had wanted to release in by December, but due to several scheduling issues, they weren’t able to make that deadline. However, he asked his fans to remain patient with him, and to look forward to a well done album next year. He also stated that he was planning on holding small intimate concerts, as he didn’t want to have concerts next year in big arenas or stadiums.
The Shinhwa vocalist was also seen on television earlier this year, as one of the judges for the television show “Super Idol,” alongside, according to K Pop Starz, fellow Shinhwa member Lee Min Woo.
