Who is ready to go back to the small town of Neptune for another “Veronica Mars” adventure? It seems that fans of the hit television show, “Veronica Mars,” still want more of Kristen Bell’s titular sleuth, and might just get their wish, although maybe not right away, according to a recent interview with “Veronica Mars” and “iZombie” creator Rob Thomas. Read on to learn more about this story.

Last Friday, during the recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con, during an interview regarding the upcoming second season of CW’s “IZombie”, Thomas shared with TV Line’s Michael Ausiello, in  TV Line’s Hard Rock Hotel interview room, that Neptune’s very own sleuth might return to either the small or the big screen sometime in the future.

According to Thomas, when asked about the possibility of having more “Veronica Mars,” especially as there had been a crowdfunded “Veronica Mars” movie which came out last year, told TV Line’s Ausiello that he does hope that there will be more adventures and mysteries for Bell’s titular private investigator to solve.

He then went on to say that he and Bell, who currently stars in “House of Lies,” and starred alongside Idina Menzel in the Disney animated film “Frozen,” have talked about a possibility of a sequel for the movie or for more adventures for the titular sleuth, and said that they are both excited to make it happen. Thomas mentioned that if they won’t be having another movie, they hope that they can make a limited run series in “True Detective” style.

However, as of this moment, there is “nothing in the works.” as Thomas indicated that “iZombie” is currently keeping him fully occupied.

What do you think of the possibility of “Veronica Mars” returning to small screen as a limited series or as a sequel to the “Veronica Mars” movie? Will you head back to Neptune with the rest of the gang? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
