Sia, is finally set to release her first single album, “This is Acting,” this Friday, Sept 25.
Although the new track “Alive” was initially deliberated for Adele’s new album 25, but after the “Rolling in the Deep” singer rejected to collaborate with Sia, the song has been included in her own forthcoming album “This is Acting.”
Recently before the official release of the album Sia took to twitter to reveal the fairly ardent official artwork of the new album, which presents the photo of a topless man with shut eyes, putting on a half blonde and half black wig, while a manicured pair of hands clasped his jaw. The artwork also presented Sia’s name alongside the name of the track written in a font with a lot of arrows.

Sia also shared a 15-second video clip from “Alive” to tease and increase the excitement of her fans. While sharing the post, she said that “Couldn’t wait any longer ‘Alive’ comes out tomorrow morning EST!”
Sia’s brand new album “This Is Acting” will cater as a follow-up to 2014’s “1000 Forms Of Fear,” which spawned the hits ‘Chandelier’ and ‘Elastic Heart’ – points out Digital Spy.
“Alive” is the foremost track from the album. At the onset of the album, it consisted of songs written for a distinct person. While speaking to NME Sia said, “I’m calling it ‘This Is Acting’ because they are songs I was writing for other people, so I didn’t go in thinking ‘this is something I would say’. It’s more like play-acting. It’s fun.”
Sia will present the track in Adele’s perspective. Apart from her upcoming album, the Adelaide singer, has written and directed a new film named “”Sister” which will star Maddie Ziegler.
