“Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” Synopsis:

The action-packed and crime-filled movie is a follow up to Miller and Rodriguez’s “Sin City” in 2005. Once again, the two directors reunite and weave Miller’s two classic stories about the most cynical citizens’ encounter with its infamous dwellers.

The movie’s poster created quite a stir when the Motion Pictures Association of America or MPAA banned it for nearly nude content. Eva Green (“Penny Dreadful”) was seen in the poster wearing a sheer white robe, barely covering her bosom. Check out the controversial poster here.

According to Page Six, MPAA banned the poster because of “nudity — curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown.”

While there is no official statement as of the moment, a source told E! News that the studio was trying to compromise with the organization. The source mentioned that the studio will submit ads, then MPAA will decide what to alter.

Meanwhile, Green addressed the issue at Vanity Fair and said that all was just for publicity, “a lot of noise for nothing.”

“You have so many more violent things in the movie business and this is kind of soft. I’m not naked. It’s suggested,” added Green in the Vanity Fair report.

What do you think about Eva Green’s poster? Should it be banned or the MPAA was just overreacting? Hit the comments box below and let your thoughts be heard.
