Celebrating the New Year often means celebrating it with a bang, and it seems Bruno Mars wants to do just that in his newly-purchased estate in Studio City, California. Read on to learn more about it.
Variety reported that Mars bought another private estate, which was located in Fryman Canyon in Studio City. According to public records, Mars apparently bought the multi-acre estate from Elvira Kudryashova for an outstanding amount of $6.5 million. She is reported to be the daughter of former Kazakh politician Viktor Khrapunov. In July 2013, Kudryashova previously bought the property for $5.7 million. However, she decided to put it up on sale again with a $7.787 million asking price after eight months of purchasing it.

The sprawling estate is located in Fryman Canyon near the northern mouth of Laurel Canyon. Known for being the haven of many celebrities, Fryman Canyon gives Mars quite a star-studded neighborhood which includes George Clooney, Alex Trebek, Teri Hatcher and even “Modern Family” cast member Julie Bowen.
Aside from this new property, Mars also owns two other estates including a 4,000-square-foot estate and residence in Laurel Canyon and a 4,300-square-foot property in his hometown of Honolulu. The Laurel Canyon residence was purchased in 2012 for around $3.254 million.
