Sean Hanish’s indie drama “Sister Cities,” which will star TV actresses Troian Bellisario and Stana Katic, from will be directing and producing for Cannonball Productions. Read on for more details.
“Sister Cities” revolves the reunion of four estranged sisters who wanted to learn the truth behin their mother’s death. It is based on Colette Freedman’s writing collections. Hanish will have many impressive faces, to name a few are Alfred Molina, Jacki Weaver, Amy Smart, Michelle Trachtenberg from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and Tom Everett Scott.
The “Return To Zero” director would work with the same team in his new project. Variety reported that unlike “Sister Cities,” “Return To Zero” was independently directed and produced by Hanish. Hanish had previously gathered accolade for his Emmy-nominated “Return To Zero” and “29 and Holding.”
Bellisario, who was known for the “Pretty Little Liars” (PLL) series, continues to make projects outside the “PLL” banner. She will be playing one of the sisters in this project. She will be joined by Katic, famed for her lead role in ABC’s “Castle” series.
Sources report that Bellisario had just signed the new project by Hanish. It has been revealed that work on the film has already begun and that the “PLL” star is gushing about the movie experience.
Bellisario and Katic is no doubt two very powerful actors. Their screen presence is strong and bold. With their alluring on screen personalities they could definitely nail it. The casting of the film is beyond impressive; it would be like an acid test for the actors to prove their worth in the industry. The power pack performances backed by smooth and sensible storyline are bound to create new rules at the box office. All we can say is good luck to both the amazing artist for their new endeavour.
