According to People, the “Sister Wives” Meri Brown had been in an online affair to someone she doesn’t know whom she thought was a man! However, Brown admitted that they just carried on to their emotional relationship.
The 44-year-old TV personality said in her interview that she began speaking with this woman earlier this year when she’s been having an “emotional and vulnerable time.”
At first, Brown thought that the person she’s been talking to the whole time was a man but it turned out to be the other way around.
“I began speaking with someone who turned out to be not who they said they were,” she said.
Brown went on by saying that she regret being involved with this kind of mess.
“I never met this person and I regret being drawn into this situation but I hope because of it I can help others who find themselves in similar circumstances.”
AllAboutTheTea reported that Brown was allegedly fooled by a female “catfisher” who named herself as Sam Cooper, a 42-year-old CEO.
The site claimed that Brown’s statement about never having a chance to meet Cooper was false.
In fact, the gossip site revealed that Brown and Cooper have met in person when the TV reality star traveled to California to finally meet the man (woman). She met online this year, however, she only saw Lindsay who claimed that Cooper couldn’t meet her that day.
Lindsay, on the other hand, was reported to be posing as Cooper’s assistant, spent her entire time with Brown.
The site claimed that Brown did not realize that Lindsay was actually Jackie Overton, who is posing as Cooper online.
Moreover, the site also revealed that “Sister Wives” Meri Brown left several unverified voice mails for Cooper (Jackie) where Brown can be heard saying that her relationship with Cooper “is the most passionate one she ever had.”
