Charlie Hunnam seems like a tough guy from the outside, especially after his bad boy biker role as Jackson ‘Jax’ Teller in the FX series, “Sons of Anarchy.” However, the 35-year-old actor admitted to having a softer side and even confessed to being a fan of the series, “Downton Abbey.” Read on to learn more about this scoop.
Charlie Hunnam will forever be known to most fans as bad boy biker Jax from “Sons of Anarchy.” Hunnam portrayed the role so well that fans are asking for more episodes from series creator Kurt Sutter despite the fact that ‘SoA’ has already concluded in 2014.
While Hunnam may exude a ‘bad boy’ look onscreen and in real life, the “King Arthur” actor previously confessed to having a softer side and admitted to being a fan of “Downton Abbey.”
“I like ‘Downton Abbey,’” the actor confessed to the Huffington Post. “I got into ‘Downton Abbey’ last off season and watched four seasons of that. I really enjoyed that show.”
Hunnam laughed when the interviewer noted that he does not seem to be a “Downton Abbey” kind-of-guy and added that it could be his character, Jax, who does not seem like one.
Meanwhile, Charlie Hunnam currently has his hands full on different movies set to be released in 2015 and 2016, including “Crimson Peak” and “Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur.” Fans are also looking forward to the upcoming “Sons of Anarchy” prequel movie, which was initially slated to begin production this coming fall.
“Sons of Anarchy” creator Kurt Sutter, however, admitted in a previous report that the ‘SoA’ prequel called, “The First 9,” would not take place in the near future.
“I’ve mentioned this many times, about potentially doing the first nine prequel which would most likely be a mini series like a ten-off or something like that. So with all that stuff, it’s really important and we wouldn’t do that for a couple of years.”
