Before the year ends, soul singer Adele will be kicking another bad habit of her: Drinking alcohol!
The “Hello” hit maker as reported in Mirror has strictly been ordered by her doctor to abandon drinking alcohol. It was in order to safeguard her music career which now has become larger-than-life.
“I am not allowed to drink as it dehydrates my vocal chords,” the 27-year-old singer revealed.
Adele added pertaining to the scary fact that she might lose her voice once more.
“Alcohol blocks your ears when you get drunk and you get lairy, which makes you talk louder. I might raise my voice and my voice might go again,” Adele said.
This complete abstinence is more than beneficial, as the blue-eyed crooner voice is deemed as a highly delicate instrument which should be maintained totally with healthy habits.
Back in 2011 during the “21” album heydays, Adele was compelled to scrapped out the remaining live dates and promotional guesting for the said album. It was due to a vocal cord hemorrhage which required immediate medical attention via surgery. The singer had a certain number of instances in which she cancelled live performances due to a sore throat.
Just recently, the Billboard Music Awardee brought into being her battle to stop smoking in 2011 as reported by Mail Online. She feared back then that the said problem would kill her in the near future.
Next to these human compulsions, the website cited Adele son, Angelo, has kept her grounded. It was despite her anxiety to cope with the demands of her reinstatement as a record-breaking artist and as a proud parent. Angelo was born in 2012 which prompted her further to extend her hiatus in the music industry.
