‘Southern Charm’ Cast Expresses Grief over Charleston Shooting Incident
Spread the word, ’cause it’s fixin’ to be a charmed springtime! Your next dose of #SouthernCharm is coming March 16 at 10/9c on Bravo.

The recent brutal shooting incident at a church in Charleston, South Carolina caught the attention of America. Some people who got affected by the tragedy are Bravo celebrities living in the unfortunate city. Read on to find out the reaction of Bravo’s Charlestonians from “Southern Charm.”

Some “Southern Charm” stars used social media to express their grief and deepest sympathy for the nine murdered victims and families of the late. Craig Conover posted on Twitter how disappointed he is for the never-ending racism and terrorism.

On the other hand, Shep Rose emphasized how hateful the incident was. Despite being thankful that none of his friends and loved ones got hurt, he still followed the news to stay updated.

Meanwhile, Cameran Eubanks tweeted to inform that people could help by donating to the church’s official site. Aside from the “Southern Charm” stars, Bravo celebrities such as “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” (RHOA) star Cynthia Bailey, “Fashion Queens” star Bevy Smith and “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (RHOBH) star Lisa Vanderpump also expressed their concern on the shooting incident.

NBC News reported that the crime happened on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, right after the victims’ prayer meeting and bible study at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston. The church is known to be one of the country’s oldest African-American churches.

After hours of manhunt, the 21-year-old Caucasian gunman Dylann Roof was arrested on Thursday, June 18, at 11:00 a.m. in Shelby, North Carolina. Charleston Police Chief Gregory Mullen announced at a press conference that Roof was caught during a traffic stop.

“I am so pleased that we were able to resolve this case quickly … so that nobody else is harmed by this individual who obviously committed a tragic, heinous crime in the city of Charleston,” Mullen said.

Roof is still subject to interrogation.

“Southern Charm” Season 2 aired every Monday at 10:00 p.m. on Bravo.
