Daniel Craig is set to use the monster-specced Sony Xperia Z5 in the upcoming “Spectre” movie. How will it compliment the cool James Bond? Read on for more details.
James Bond movies are already known for using cool gadgets ranging from cars, watches, suits, and everything in between.
Now, the franchise is set to arm their protagonist, James Bond, with Sony Xperia Z5 in the soon-to-be-released “Spectre.” Revealed in the latest Sony advert, Miss Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) was on a mission to deliver James Bond’s Xperia device when bad guys started chasing her.
Miss Moneypenny quickly ran through alleys, stairs, and reached a dead end at an underground facility. And in that facility, Miss Moneypenny showcased the might of Sony Xperia Z5’s impressive 23MP camera: ultra clear 4K images shot even in the midst of darkness, with lights that only flickered.
Miss Moneypenny of “Spectre” then called James Bond saying, “Bond, it’s Moneypenny. I’ve got your phone.”
Before using the Z5, it was leaked that Craig initially turned down Sony’s $5 million offer as an exchange of promoting their previous flagship device, the Sony Xperia Z4. Wikileaks on Thursday disclosed Sony’s email, via Digital Trends, in which it revealed Craig and Sam’s reason for refusing the hefty offer.
“Beyond the $$ factor, there is, as you may know, a creative factor whereby Sam (Mendes) and Daniel don’t like the Sony phone for the film (the thinking, subjectively/objectively is that James Bond only uses the ‘best,’ and in their minds, the Sony phone is not the ‘best’),” the email reportedly said.
If this is case, does this imply that the “Spectre” star find the Sony Xperia Z5 the best? Well, as far as reviews are concerned, the Sony Xperia Z5 is a big improvement compared to the Z3+ or Z4, which was a letdown.
PC Advisor stated the Sony Xperia Z5 is a great looking device, especially the one colored with green. And Craig might have liked its killer specs and features such as Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, 2.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, 3GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, 23MP rear camera, and more.
Indeed, with these killer specs, the phone proves to be the best fit for the cool James Bond – images that could be snapped clearly even in darkness is also more than being cool, it’s very useful. And Daniel Craig fans are definitely excited on how the actor would further use it during his missions in the upcoming “Spectre.”
So, the countdown starts now until the film hits theaters worldwide on November 6.
