Firmly stating that MCU is the place where Spider-Man belongs, Kevin Feige added that the superhero is a completely different kind of superhero even when he is compared with the other Marvel heroes.
Talking about the Untitled Spider-Man solo movie that will be releasing on July 28th 2017, Kevin Feige said that the main objective of the movie is to introduce Spider-Man in his own standalone movie and to establish his own storylines in a way that will fit into the MCU.
Screen Rant added that the rumored title of the standalone Spider-Man movie is “The Spectacular Spider-Man.” This third attempt at the superhero after Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will show Peter Parker as a high school student who will have been fighting crime for about a year when he witnesses the battle between Pro and Anti Registration sides led by Iron Man and Captain America, respectively. He will also be known as a legend on the streets just like the Batman because no one would be aware of his existence. “Captain America: Civil War” will release on May 6th next year while “Untitled Spider-Man solo” movie will be out by 2017.
