“Spider-Man” movie has been planned for a 2017 release and will be the first time we will get to see Tom Holland’s version of Spider-Man on-screen. Given the fact that Tom is making his debut as the web slinger in next year’s “Captain America: Civil War,” there’s something else that fans should be really excited about.
According to Movie Pilot, spoilers have now become an integral part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and you might never know when will you see a particular favorite character of yours in some other movie. It only gets more fascinating when a star like Robert Downey Jr. hints at two unknown appearances in the future Marvel films and that too on national television.
It all started when Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans were on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and Chris aka Captain America himself mentioned about the weather conditions in Atlanta. Things got really interesting there because Robert mentioned that this could come across as a problem for Chris since they will have to shoot there again. Chris couldn’t help but agree to this.
I know there’s nothing confirmed here but with Robert firmly saying that he and Chris will have to shoot in Atlanta, it only makes us wonder for which project will they be shooting. Currently, from Marvel’s stable only “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2” has been confirmed to shoot there while “Thor: Ragnarok” and “Doctor Strange” are shooting elsewhere.
“Avengers: Infinity War” and “Untitled Spider-Man Solo Movie” will also eventually end up shooting there so there are chances that out of the two movies mentioned earlier, Captain America and Iron Man will have some kind of involvement.
If it’s a relatively smaller part, then it could be for the solo “Spider-Man” adventure otherwise there are chances that Marvel has already let the ball rolling for 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War.” Since it has a mother lode of heroes and the most powerful villain involved, they might as well start shooting next year.
Screen Rant added that the “Spider-Man” solo movie would be shooting in Atlanta and with Robert hinting that he and Chris will also be heading there, one can take a wild guess and deduce that the two veteran Avengers will have some advice to pass on to the youngest future Avenger.
The untitled “Spider-Man” solo movie will release on July 28th 2017.
