The film producer and president of Marvel studios, who was having a difficult time with his franchise being in danger, expressed his euphemism in telling that Spider-man will be serving a substantial purpose in this universe because there is where he belongs. Read on.
According to Cinema Blend, the understatement of this man meant well with Spider-man joining the team of Marvel Cinematic Universe after a prominent deal of rights between Sony pictures and Marvel Studious last February. After all, Spider-man represents specified quality in Marvel studios and joining the MCU would give the fans a great deal of something to wait for.
On the other way around, Movie Pilot reported that Spider-man ought to be still having other business with Sony pictures in having cast appearance with the slated Nov. 2016 set movie, “Sinister Six,” which is of course under the franchise of the said Marvel character.
“Sinister Six” is about the group of villains who wants to destroy Spider-man and it is led by the classic villain doctor octopus who was always been pissed in being defeated by Spider-Man. The group includes Vulture, Electro, Kraven, Mysterio, and Sandman who also have the pleasure of destroying the protagonist in the story. Even then, after they decided to assemble the whole group they still decided to fight him and individually and still lost the battle. It is a bit weird, what is the point of the groupie?
In a separate article, Cinema Blend reported that a lot of villains will still appear in the Spider-Man universe. The villains included are namely Venom, Beetle, Green Goblin, Chameleon, Lizard, Hydro-Man, Shocker, Hammerhead, Boomerang and Tombstone. Could this possibly be a payback time? Spiderman could possibly be in danger but having an important someone in his life could also be, this is a possible threat in our friendly neighbourhood.
Though Goddard doesn’t have any idea if when is the possible release of “Sinister Six” but he is certain that it is going to happen soon.
“It’s a long game. [Sinister Six] could still happen. It’s certainly not going to happen soon… but I’ve learned, look – “Cabin in the Woods” we went into bankruptcy and [it] had to stay on the shelf for a couple of years. It’s OK.” Goddard said as reported by Movie Pilot.
