“Stalker” has premiered their very first thrilling episode on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. on CBS. If you missed the episode’s “Pilot” we have the recap for you right here.
The episode kicked off with a woman named Kate who was being stalked by a man. Then, she finally came face to face with her stalker who poured gas all over her. She managed to make her escape from the man and flee to her own car. She was able to leave the trail of gas coming out from her car until she smashed into a tree and her car exploded.
A serious-looking Lt. Davis, who handles the Stalker Unit, accompanied a New York-based Detective Jack Larsen to the crime scene. Davis talked to her, more like an interview, and Larsen didn’t appreciate it. She called her off from throwing interview-like questions at him. Just when things were about to get heated up between them, they got a call that Kate’s body has been found.
Davis rushed to the scene along with Larsen, who wants Davis to inform her that he knows what he’s doing and he’s pretty good at it. Larsen began to analyze the whole situation. Davis’ face featured a flicker of “impressed look” on which she quickly hid from Larsen. In the middle of their investigation, they were informed that there was another similar case, a woman named Lisa was also being stalked and even got gas poured all over her in an elevator but she was able to escape. They learned a strange information that Lisa did not report it.
Another strange thing is that Lisa has a few similarities with Kate. First, she’s living in her old apartment and she also takes the same spin class as her. Having this kind of information in their hands, they interviewed some of Kate’s friends and they figured out that the stalker is just among Kate’s circle, probably an ex-boyfriend.
There was another stalker case that they were taking care of in this episode, Perry who got beaten up by Eric and even tried to play the victim saying that Eric was accusing him of something that he didn’t really do. However, Davis thinks that Perry was the one who recorded the video of Eric and his GF having sex and is Eric’s stalker. Later, Davis smacking Perry, who threatened her that he will tell what she’s done to him. Davis told him that no one would believe him and the guy started stalking her.
Meanwhile, Larsen came across his ex-wife who previously moved to LA to get away from him. It seems like that the person who’s after the stalkers is actually a stalker himself, and this might just be the one big secret that Larsen is keeping.
